UlcerGard^® paste actively prevents equine stomach ulcers and the pain and discomfort that often accompanies them. UlcerGard^® for horses is ideal to give to during times of increased stress or exercise. UlcerGard^® horse is the first and only proven non-prescription preventative for Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome. No other product is FDA-approved to prevent stomach ulcers in horses. Each tube of UlcerGard^® equine contains four preventative doses for horses weighing between 600 and 1,200 pounds. UlcerGard^® is a once-daily, easy to administer oral paste that contains omeprazole paste for horses. Use UlcerGard^® paste for horses during training, racing, showing, traveling, stall confinement, and competition. Safety in pregnant mares has not been determined. This ulcer medication for horses is not for use in humans.
